Favorite Places To Eat
Our Favorite Places to Eat (Guest Favorites + Local Picks)
Over the years, we’ve tried just about everything on and around Siesta Key. These are the places we consistently recommend to guests—and the ones people come back talking about.
Waterfront Dining (Must-Do Experiences)
Ophelia’s on the Bay
A special night out. Beautiful waterfront setting, incredible sunsets, and a more upscale menu. Perfect for a memorable dinner.
Siesta Key Oyster Bar (SKOB)
Lively, casual, and fun. Great seafood, live music, and a true Siesta Key vibe.
The Cottage
One of our go-to spots. Creative menu, great atmosphere, and consistently excellent food.
Summer House Steak & Seafood
If you’re craving steak or a higher-end dinner, this is a fantastic option right in the Village.
Casual Seafood & Laid-Back Eats
Captain Curt’s Crab & Oyster Bar
Famous for their clam chowder. Super casual, easy, and always a hit.
Phillippi Creek Oyster Bar
Old Florida charm. Great seafood, big portions, and a relaxed waterfront feel.
New Pass Grill & Bait Shop
One of those hidden gems. Right on the water—simple, authentic, and really enjoyable.
Walt’s Fish Market
Fresh seafood market + restaurant. You know it’s good when locals go here.
Owen’s Fish Camp
One of our absolute favorites. True southern-style seafood with a really fun, laid-back outdoor vibe. The backyard seating, live music, and overall atmosphere make this a must-visit.

A must for kids (and adults). Fresh, hot mini donuts right in the Village.
Village Cafe
Old-school breakfast diner feel—simple and reliable.
Toasted Mango Cafe
Just off the Key, but one of the best breakfast/brunch spots around.
Dessert & Treats
Big Olaf Creamery
A Siesta Key tradition. Lines can get long—but that tells you everything.
Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream
Fun experience—ice cream made right in front of you.
Made in Rome Organic Gelato
If you want something a little different—excellent gelato.
Insider Tips for Dining
Book sunset dinners early (especially Ophelia’s)
Use the free trolley to avoid parking hassles
Go early (5–6pm) or later to avoid peak crowds
Many places offer great takeout—perfect for enjoying dinner on the lanai
One of our favorite nights: pick up takeout, grab a bottle of wine, and enjoy a sunset dinner right from the condo
Inside Scoop
The “new” natural Blind Pass
Created after recent storms, this is a hidden gem nearby. It’s a beautiful, ever-changing inlet where water flows between the bay and Gulf. Most visitors never see it—but we highly recommend checking it out.
Private sandy area in front of the condo
While Siesta is famous for its white quartz sand, many guests are surprised to find how quiet and enjoyable this stretch is compared to the main beach.
Best sunset views are right here
Many people travel to crowded spots… but some of the best views are literally outside your door.
Dock lifestyle advantage
Being able to keep a boat onsite is rare on Siesta Key—it completely changes your vacation experience.
Skip the crowds strategy
Use the trolley to head into the Village for dinner, then return to your quiet beachfront retreat.
Early mornings are magical
Calm water, birds, dolphins—it’s when the beach feels like it’s yours alone.
