The property is located in Houston, AL, only 10 minutes from the locally renowned "Chef Troy's" restaurant. Sleeps 10 in beds with a Maximum occupancy of 14. The property is equipped with Super-Fast Sprout Fiber Optic Wi-Fi Internet. A total of 6 smart TVs are located throughout the house including a large screen TV with surround sound in the upstairs living room and an outside TV on the lower deck. All the TVs use the same Roku interface/remote for seamlessly streaming AV content. Basic TV channels, including the SEC channel, are available thru the YouTube TV app which you can access from the Roku home screen. The house has two living areas - one upstairs and one downstairs. Each has a full kitchen with full-size refrigerator. Two KEURIG and two regular coffee makers are provided. There is a baby highchair (if needed). There is also a chest freezer in the garage plus a new washer and dryer for guests' use. A new HVAC system was recently installed to keep you cool day and night. There are 2 gas fireplaces which are non-functioning. You will enjoy the two large decks, each with ~800 sq. ft and 180- big water lake views. Each deck has patio tables seating 6. The elegant upstairs deck provides peaceful views of the lake and the fun downstairs deck features an outdoor TV, Edison lights, Crimson Tide Corn Hole game, bar stools, propane heater plus gas and charcoal BBQs. Both are just a short walk to the dock. You will love the beautiful white sandy beach and gazebo complete with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs on the point overlooking a beautiful view of the lake! A limited supply of firewood is provided. The property has a private boat ramp for you to use.The ramp is best when the lake is at or near Full-Pool - 510' water level. The dock has one boat slip with areas to side tie plus a swim deck. There is a Dock LifeGuard system on the dock, for your safety. Two single seat 10 ft Tamarack fishing kayaks, a paddle board, and a large floating lily pad are provided for guest use. Additionally, you will find a collection of miscellaneous items such as life vests, noodles, spare light bulbs, spare batteries, games etc. in the garage that are there for your use. Ducktail Pointe is a quiet and peaceful place that is great for families and those who appreciate this type of environment. Please be respectful of the full time neighbors and help us keep it this way. If you are wake boarding, wake surfing or tubing, remember that you are responsible for any damage caused by your wake so please stay as far from the docks as is safe to do.
