Check-Out Instructions Help us keep the cottage lovely for all guests: Tidy the space before you go Bedding: Strip used sheets and place in the laundry basket (utility room) Dishes: Run and empty the dishwasher; return items to their spots Pet owners: Don’t forget to scoop before you leave Trash & Recycling: Must be taken to a local Waste Centre (info in house manual & on fridge) Use the One-Time Guest Permit Card (on the fridge) Garbage & recycling must be in clear bags (provided) One small privacy bag per garbage bag is allowed (e.g. bathroom trash) Final Checks: Ensure all windows & patio doors are closed and locked Turn off all lights and heating/cooling units Check for belongings under beds, in drawers, and in the fridge Lock the front door by pressing the “Lock” icon on the keypad We take great care in preparing the cottage for your arrival, and we truly appreciate your help in keeping it tidy for the next guests. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy If the Renters wish to cancel the agreement, they must notify the Owners in writing. There are no refunds within 30 days of the rental period. Any cancellations after deposit is received will be subject to a cancellation fee of $250.00. If the rental period can be rebooked this will be waived.
Stay Rules
Absolutely NO smoking, vaping, or use of e-cigarettes of any kind is allowed inside the cottage. This includes cigarettes, marijuana, and other substances. Fire Safety & Restrictions Outdoor fires must follow local fire regulations. Fire bans may be issued by the Township or Provincial officials and must be strictly followed. Failure to comply may result in fines. Noise, Parties & Conduct: The North Frontenac Noise and Public Nuisances Bylaw is in effect: No parties or events allowed. No excessive noise at any time Please respect the peace and quiet of the natural surroundings, sound travels easily across the lake. No fireworks permitted at any time Fireworks are a fire hazard and disturb local wildlife. We’re happy to welcome your well-behaved, house-trained four-legged family members. Please confirm any pets at the time of booking. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone in the community and neighboring properties, please ensure the following rules are followed: • Do not leave pets unattended at any time • Please supervise pets and keep them within the property boundaries (there is no fencing, so be mindful they don’t wander onto neighboring lots) • Prevent excessive barking Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. No pets allowed on beds or furniture Please clean up after your pet both indoors and outdoors (scoop required) and take responsibility for any damage. Garbage & Recycling There is no curbside pickup. All garbage and recycling must be taken to a local Waste Centre. Two nearby locations: 10 minutes and 14 minutes away Directions and details are posted on the fridge and included in the Guest Manual A one-time-use Guest Permit Card is provided for waste disposal. This permit is mandatory to dispose of garbage. Please hand to the attendant at Waste Center.
