Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Canmore offers easy access to outstanding hiking, backpacking, camping and mountain biking terrain, breathtaking viewpoints, downhill and cross-country skiing, world class golf courses and a multitude of water sports. Getting Around: There are many walking/biking paths in the neighbourhood and various shops and restaurants. Downtown’s Main Street is a short walk away with even more retail and dining options. Canmore offers free local bus transportation on our ROAM Transit service, and easy access to Banff for a nominal fee. There are also many taxi companies available, including Three Sisters Taxi (our Welcome Binder lists a few options with contact information). Other Things to Note: NOTE: Same day bookings have a 6 p.m. check in time. Should the unit be available earlier, we will advise as soon as possible.
