The cabin and everything in it is for guest use. The exception is the locked housekeeping closet off the game room. The garages are also not for guest use. I will not be available in person but can be reached via the app. The house does have stairs, so it is not wheelchair accessible. However, for those with limited mobility but that can handle a few stairs, there are only 6 steps into the main level and there are 2 bedrooms on that level, as well as the kitchen, living, and dining spaces. The driveway is steep (but paved!) and the last mile of the road to get to the cabin is a little rough, so please pay attention to the weather. If the driveway and roads ice over, you will not be able to make it down the driveway. However, there is parking for 4+ vehicles on the road next to the mailbox, which is still just steps from the front door. We have regular pest control but this is Tennessee and a house in the middle of the woods. Also, Asian beetles are a thing and despite our efforts, we can’t keep them completely out of the house. You may see some of these (they look like ladybugs). They are harmless. It’s nothing to be alarmed about. If this is going to ruin your stay or if you’re going to come, see the beatles, and ask for a refund and/or leave a bad review, please just book a different house. Follow basic tasks before check-out (trash in cans, dishwasher on). Dogs must be crated when left in the home alone. Guests agree to be responsible for any and all damage caused by pets.
