The Road to Hana, officially the H\u0101na Highway (Hwy 36 and 360), covers 52 miles from P\u0101\u02bbia to H\u0101na town, threading through 59 one-lane bridges, 620 turns, and a steady sequence of waterfalls, jungle overhangs, fruit stands, and coastal overlooks. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From K\u012bhei, you’ll head north toward Kahului first (use Hansen Road past the Pu\u02bbun\u0113n\u0113 sugar mill to bypass airport traffic), then swing east through P\u0101\u02bbia and onto the highway. Budget 10\u201312 hours for the full experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
